Job Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Must submit to pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift, push or move products weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, alternating Saturdays
- Start times between 4am-6am
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with public and understand traffic signs
- Preferred doubles/triples endorsement
- Experience driving tractor-trailers
- Good physical condition to handle freight
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow safety regulations and company policies
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer to transport doubles and potentially triples between Sysco facility and shuttle yards
- Unload and deliver various products to customer locations as assigned
- Follow assigned route schedules efficiently and safely
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Handle and move freight weighing 40-60 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds
