Job Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean clearinghouse results required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- Preferably 1-year truck driving experience but not necessary
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A driver’s license (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 4 months driving experience
- Demonstrated safe driving record
- Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform
- Ability to pass background, drug test, and clearinghouse checks
- Preferably 1-year truck driving experience although not mandatory
- Physical capability to perform flatbed duties effectively
Job Duties
- Operate flatbed trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of freight including tarping loads
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle and equipment condition
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, and related paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and management
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations and safety standards
- Participate in required orientation and ongoing training programs
