Job Requirements
- Valid CDL license
- Hazardous materials endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days
- At least 1 year of Class A tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- Clean driving record with no suspensions, revocations, or reckless driving convictions in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination
- Ability to follow safety protocols consistently
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL with hazardous materials endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Minimum of 1 year Class A tractor trailer on-road driving experience preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record with no suspensions or reckless driving convictions in the past 3 years
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
Job Duties
- Operate Class A tractor trailer to deliver products safely and on time to retail stores
- Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects
- Provide exceptional customer service by representing Ace Hardware positively during deliveries
- Utilize company-provided technology and equipment to ensure efficient route management and communication
- Participate in ongoing safety training and adhere to company safety programs
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in compliance with regulations
