Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- One year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
- Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Must be insurable to operate a vehicle
- Ability to drive in various weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to comply with DOT and company safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- English language proficiency
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- One year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred
- Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials guidelines
- Ability to operate 3 axle tractor, 45'-48' trailer, straight truck
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to independently plan and organize work activities
- Ability to meet company productivity standards
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart according to customer specifications
- Complete all paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and timely
- Maintain food safety protocols including temperature control and sanitation
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships through courteous communication
- Operate tractor-trailer safely following company and government regulations
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
