Job Requirements
- valid class a commercial driver license (CDL)
- be 21 years of age or older
- successful pre-employment background check and drug screen
- ability to read, write, and speak english proficiently
- physical ability to lift, push or move product weighing 40 to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Qualifications
- be 21 years of age or older
- hold a valid class a commercial driver license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs, and complete records
- demonstrate flexibility with overtime, weekends, and holiday work
- preferably have 1 year of customer delivery experience
- preferably have 6 months hand cart or hand truck experience
- preferably have 6 months food and beverage experience
- preferably have 2 years consistent work history
Job Duties
- operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
- manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- build positive relationships with customers using a friendly attitude
- become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
- work a set schedule Monday through Saturday with Saturday as a return day
- perform one overnight stay per week with expenses covered by the company
- handle touch freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
