Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age
  • valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
  • ability to read write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience

Job Duties

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • drive tractor-trailer to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle
  • maintain driver log manually or via Peoplenet according to DOT regulations documenting delivery receipt product temperatures and exceptions
  • unload trailer delivering product into customer premises
  • perform other duties as assigned
