Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and flexible Extra Board position

Job Duties
- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
- Drive tractor-trailer to destination using knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle
- Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions
- Unload trailer delivering product into customer premises
- Cover other drivers' vacations, call-offs, shuttles, and work in the yard as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
