Job Requirements
- Must be 21 plus years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English well enough to communicate with the public and comply with traffic rules
- Must be able to lift, push, or move freight weighing 40 to 60 pounds on average and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required
- Must be available to work a set Monday through Saturday schedule with Saturday as a return day
Job Qualifications
- 21 plus years of age
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to converse, understand highway signs, and complete reports
- One year of customer delivery experience preferred
- Six months hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- Six months food and beverage delivery experience preferred
- Two years consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to assigned customer locations
- Manually unload and deliver various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build relationships with customers using a positive and friendly attitude
- Understand customer operations and fulfill specific delivery needs and expectations
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management regarding route progress and product deliveries
- Work a set schedule Monday through Saturday with a four-day workweek and one overnight stay per week
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
