Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- valid class a commercial driver license (cdl) with a clean driving record
- able to read, speak, and understand english sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs, and complete required reports
- pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- able to lift and move freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- class a commercial driver license (cdl) with a clean driving record
- ability to read, speak, and understand english sufficiently to interact with the public and comply with safety regulations
- 21 years of age or older
- minimum one year customer delivery experience preferred
- six months hand cart or hand truck experience preferred
- six months food and beverage experience preferred
- two years consistent work history preferred
Job Duties
- safely operate tractor-trailers to deliver products to customer locations
- manually unload and deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods
- build positive relationships with customers through professional and friendly interaction
- adhere to assigned route schedules ensuring timely deliveries
- lift and move freight weighing 40 to 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- comply with company and federal safety regulations
- maintain accurate delivery records and communicate delivery status
