Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
  • insurable to operate vehicle
  • ability to read and speak English
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 350 pounds
  • ability to work overnight schedules, weekends, holidays, overtime and flexible start times
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
  • ability to follow directions and perform duties as assigned
  • regular and predictable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school preferred
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
  • ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
  • skills in long-distance driving and problem-solving
  • ability to operate tractor-trailer, straight truck, and related equipment
  • effective planning and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Safely transport product from warehouse to customer location according to assigned route
  • unload product from trailer by hand or using hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
  • pick up, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns
  • complete all paperwork accurately and submit on time
  • ensure all food safety protocols are met and maintain sanitary conditions
  • operate assigned equipment safely
  • develop good relationships with customers through excellent service
  • communicate with management regarding route or product issues
  • work assigned schedule including overnight deliveries and weekends as needed
