Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Insurable to operate company vehicle
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds
- Ability to work overnight schedule including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted as substitute or addition to high school diploma
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- Skilled in long-distance driving and communicating with customers
- Ability to operate tractor-trailer, onboard computer, hand cart, and related equipment
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Effective problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer using hand or hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
- Complete all paperwork accurately including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, pre- and post-trip reports, and invoices
- Ensure food safety protocols by maintaining proper temperatures, inspecting products, and preventing contamination
- Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse, and yard
- Develop good customer relations through excellent, courteous service and communication
- Drive tractor trailer safely and efficiently to various customer locations
- Perform other duties assigned by management
