Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Insurable to operate company vehicle
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds
  • Ability to work overnight schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
  • Completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted as substitute or addition to high school diploma
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
  • Skilled in long-distance driving and communicating with customers
  • Ability to operate tractor-trailer, onboard computer, hand cart, and related equipment
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
  • Effective problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Unload product from trailer using hand or hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
  • Complete all paperwork accurately including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle maintenance reports, pre- and post-trip reports, and invoices
  • Ensure food safety protocols by maintaining proper temperatures, inspecting products, and preventing contamination
  • Maintain sanitary conditions in tractor, trailer, warehouse, and yard
  • Develop good customer relations through excellent, courteous service and communication
  • Drive tractor trailer safely and efficiently to various customer locations
  • Perform other duties assigned by management
