Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- must be insurable to operate a vehicle
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to remain alert and aware of surroundings
- physical ability to perform loading and unloading tasks
- ability to comply with DOT and food safety regulations
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- ability to communicate effectively with customers
- problem-solving skills
- ability to operate a 3 axle tractor, 45'-48' trailer, straight truck, and related equipment
- ability to read, write, and understand English
- basic math skills
- ability to plan and organize work independently
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks
- place product in customer storage areas per company and customer specifications
- complete all paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and on time
- maintain food safety protocols ensuring proper temperature and sanitary conditions
- establish and maintain good customer relationships through courteous service and communication
- drive tractor trailer safely adhering to traffic and company guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned by management
