Job Requirements
- Class A CDL license required
- Current medical certificate card
- One to three years commercial driving experience
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to physically meet job demands
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles including semi-trucks, trailers, and vans
- Willingness to comply with FMCSA drug and alcohol screening regulations
- Ability to use delivery equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Must be available to work flexible schedules including early mornings or night shifts
- Valid driver’s license
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and customer service standards
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of transportation principles and methods for transporting goods by commercial vehicle
- Ability to physically complete physical requirements of job
- Ability to drive commercial vehicles including semi-trucks and trailers up to 53 feet, solo trucks, vans
- Ability to use hand truck, pallet jack, walk boards, and stay bars
- Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment
- Acceptable MVR record
- One to three years commercial driving experience
- Grocery distributing experience
- Hand truck and ramp work experience
- Class A CDL license required
- Current medical certificate card
Job Duties
- Transport grocery items to customers by using time efficiently and ensuring accurate accounting for items delivered or picked up
- Maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property
- Deliver products by hand truck using lift gate and walk board and handle customer needs such as returns and proper handling of cash, checks, or other entrusted items
- Conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abide by DOT regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
