Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years old (DOT)
- valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A
- proven CDL A driving and delivery experience
- ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly with physical exertion including reaching, bending, stooping, climbing
- familiarity with navigation systems/apps
- compliance with safety policies
- able to work 10-12 hour shifts and longer as needed
- dependable and punctual
- pass drug screening, background check, and physical exam
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 21 years old (DOT) and have a valid Commercial Driver's License Class A
- proven work history with CDL A driving and delivery experience
- detail-oriented with a focus on accurate product unloading and check-in procedures
- familiarity with using navigation systems/apps while driving
- strong adherence to safety guidelines, including the prohibition of handheld devices while operating a company vehicle
- ability to work long hours (10-12 hours per day) with the potential for longer days initially based on performance
- comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- dependable and punctual, arriving on time for work and ready to depart for assigned routes
- strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
- must pass a drug screening, background check, and pre-employment workplace physical examination
Job Duties
- safely and efficiently deliver products to customers, following designated routes and schedules
- provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring all orders are delivered in their entirety
- adhere to all state and local traffic laws as well as Team Modern's safety guidelines
- complete check-in procedures accurately to ensure proper handling of customer products
- document and submit all paperwork and payments on a daily basis
- utilize a tractor trailer and/or tractor and pup trailer, two-wheel dolly, and/or manual pallet jack for product transportation
- perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck, documenting any issues electronically
