Job Requirements

  • 12 months of CDL-A
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • No major MVR or CSA violations within the last 3 years
  • No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years
  • Must be able to pass a FMCSA DOT pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • 12 months of CDL-A experience
  • Ability to safely operate a CDL A tractor trailer
  • Knowledge of refrigerated freight handling and temperature control
  • Ability to use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and mobile apps
  • Strong paperwork accuracy and time management skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Understanding of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a CDL A tractor trailer while transporting OTR refrigerated freight
  • Drive long distances across regional/national lanes
  • Load/unload as needed
  • use proper freight securement methods
  • Monitor and manage reefer temperatures to maintain product quality
  • Perform pretrip, enroute, and post trip inspections
  • Follow all FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, bills of lading, and temperature documentation
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and company personnel
  • Drive in all weather, traffic, and terrain conditions
  • Bend, squat, twist, and get under the trailer to check components
