Job Requirements
- 12 months of CDL-A
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- No major MVR or CSA violations within the last 3 years
- No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 5 years
- Must be able to pass a FMCSA DOT pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- 12 months of CDL-A experience
- Ability to safely operate a CDL A tractor trailer
- Knowledge of refrigerated freight handling and temperature control
- Ability to use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and mobile apps
- Strong paperwork accuracy and time management skills
- Professional communication skills
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service compliance
Job Duties
- Safely operate a CDL A tractor trailer while transporting OTR refrigerated freight
- Drive long distances across regional/national lanes
- Load/unload as needed
- use proper freight securement methods
- Monitor and manage reefer temperatures to maintain product quality
- Perform pretrip, enroute, and post trip inspections
- Follow all FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service
- Maintain accurate driver logs, bills of lading, and temperature documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and company personnel
- Drive in all weather, traffic, and terrain conditions
- Bend, squat, twist, and get under the trailer to check components
