Job Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and communicate with the general public
- Physical ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing from 40 to 100 pounds
- Willingness to unload and deliver various products on assigned routes
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to engage in public conversations, understand highway signs, and complete necessary reports
- Experience operating tractor-trailers preferred but not explicitly required
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailer to transport doubles and triples between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions
- Adhere to delivery schedules and route assignments to ensure timely deliveries
- Comply with federal and state regulations including pre-employment drug screening and maintaining a clean driving record
- Load and unload freight weighing between 40 to 100 pounds following safety protocols
- Read and understand English language signs and communicate effectively in English for reporting and inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records as required
