Job Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen
- License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public
- Ability to understand highway traffic signs and signals in English
- Ability to respond to official inquiries
- Ability to make entries on reports and records
- Capability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds
- May be required to unload and deliver various products on an assigned route schedule
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Proven experience in commercial driving preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving
- Ability to work independently and follow assigned routes
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards
- Transport doubles and potentially triples loads
- Build positive relationships with customers and internal teams
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Unload and deliver various products on assigned route schedules
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork and reports
- Maintain a clean driving record and vehicle cleanliness
