Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Colorado State EMT and CPR certificates
- Valid drivers license for a minimum of 2 years
- Six months of ambulance driving experience strongly preferred
- Free of any clinical or corrective action
- Ability to complete mandatory annual training requirements
- Ability to safely operate a Critical Care transport ambulance
- Ability to work part-time shifts
- Reliable communication skills
- Ability to participate in monthly staff meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Colorado State EMT and CPR certificates
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 2 years
- Six months of ambulance driving experience preferred
- Ability to assist flight crew with patient assessments and care
- Understanding of CAMTS accreditation and guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive the Critical Care ground ambulance safely and maintain the ambulance including fuel, oxygen, air and scheduled maintenance
- Assist the flight crew in patient care during transport
- Safely load and unload patients into the ambulance, fixed wing airplane, or helicopter
- Participate in public relations presentations to enhance community awareness
- Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings
- Complete equipment and orientation checklists
- Ensure ambulance readiness by checking, restocking and cleaning ambulance, equipment and supplies
