Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Colorado State EMT and CPR certificates
  • Valid drivers license for a minimum of 2 years
  • Six months of ambulance driving experience strongly preferred
  • Free of any clinical or corrective action
  • Ability to complete mandatory annual training requirements
  • Ability to safely operate a Critical Care transport ambulance
  • Ability to work part-time shifts
  • Reliable communication skills
  • Ability to participate in monthly staff meetings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Colorado State EMT and CPR certificates
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 2 years
  • Six months of ambulance driving experience preferred
  • Ability to assist flight crew with patient assessments and care
  • Understanding of CAMTS accreditation and guidelines

Job Duties

  • Drive the Critical Care ground ambulance safely and maintain the ambulance including fuel, oxygen, air and scheduled maintenance
  • Assist the flight crew in patient care during transport
  • Safely load and unload patients into the ambulance, fixed wing airplane, or helicopter
  • Participate in public relations presentations to enhance community awareness
  • Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings
  • Complete equipment and orientation checklists
  • Ensure ambulance readiness by checking, restocking and cleaning ambulance, equipment and supplies
