Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in religious administrative support or similar role
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • availability to attend weekly meetings
  • proficiency in preparing bulletins, calendars, and reports
  • strong organizational skills
  • three professional references including one priest or pastor
  • effective communication skills in English
  • possession of a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • willingness to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • part-time commitment
  • contractor status (1099)

Job Qualifications

  • experience in Catholic Administrative Pastoral Life Coordination
  • familiarity with Catholic faith and practices aligned with Sacred Scripture and Tradition
  • ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • ability to interact respectfully with diverse religious groups
  • experience working within military Catholic Communities preferred
  • current valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • attend weekly meetings with priest and senior priest to gather program information
  • provide a monthly Catholic Community calendar by the final business day of the preceding month
  • collect and update Catholic Community registration monthly
  • create weekly Catholic bulletin and announcements four days prior to service
  • prepare facility reservation requests and publicity flyers for events and submit them 45 days prior
  • collect and prepare supporting documentation and sacramental records for certification
  • assist in the preparation of quarterly AMS Clergy reports
  • maintain attendance records at Catholic Community events
  • organize and prepare religious education program materials weekly
