Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and walking
- Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working experience in a restaurant or kitchen
- Familiarity with basic food safety and sanitation principles
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Job Duties
- Assist with dishwashing responsibilities during and after events
- Organize food and beverage storage areas
- Assist with preparation work associated with catering business
- Wash dishes at various Zoo locations
- Perform cleaning projects in kitchen and restaurant areas
- Work on the front line when needed
- Assist with minor maintenance projects
- Support the Catering Manager with other tasks as assigned
