Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' catering, restaurant, or food service experience
  • Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, and/or carry for the duration of a shift
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to set-up and break-down banquets and buffet areas

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant catering, restaurant, or food service experience with medium to large group sizes
  • Serve Safe certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Hands-on experience in food preparation, including cooking, baking, and preparing ready-made food items
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culinary experience preferred
  • Familiarity with food preparation and presentation techniques

Job Duties

  • Preparing food items, set up, and serve food at various events, banquets, and functions with attention to presentation and quality
  • Assist with food preparation, placing food items in correct vessels, and garnishing to meet event specifications
  • Excellent food handling and preparation skills of food products in compliance with health and sanitation regulations, ensuring proper storage and transportation
  • Maintain proper food storage practices and assist with inventory management
  • Ability to continuously work while standing, walking, pushing, and/or carrying for the duration of a shift
  • Fulfill the guests’ needs quickly and efficiently as well as resolve complaints effectively
  • Execute back of the house, front of the house and all other duties assigned for the overall productivity of banquet events assigned
