Job Requirements

  • a.s. degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • ability to supervise hourly associates
  • experience with high volume, complex food service operations
  • proficient in computer skills including microsoft office and email
  • servsafe certified preferred
  • willing to participate in client satisfaction activities

  • knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation

  • servsafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise hourly associates in food preparation and cooking
  • develop daily menu items and oversee their preparation and garnishment
  • collaborate with executive chef/chef to develop new menus and assist with ordering
