Job Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in high-end catering or event-focused culinary operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale event culinary production
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including event days and weekends
- Effective communication and team supervision abilities
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in high-end catering or event-focused culinary operations
- Demonstrated experience executing large-scale, high-volume events
- Strong culinary fundamentals with the ability to lead from the kitchen
- Experience supporting menu planning, ordering, and cost management
- Comfort supervising and developing hourly kitchen teams
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Job Duties
- Lead and execute culinary production for large-scale catered events at The Crossvines, from prep through service
- Support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations and event execution
- Collaborate on menu development, tastings, and seasonal event offerings
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and food cost controls
- Supervise, train, and support hourly culinary team members during prep and events
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Support new culinary programs and menu rollouts tied to events and venue offerings
