Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • complete a sanitation course within first year as a lead
  • physical ability for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • strong emotional control under stress

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • prepare production records
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production safety and quality
  • ensure safe and organized food storage
  • maintain serving schedules per menu specifications
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare vendor orders to ensure accurate production
  • operate an efficient cost-effective program
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • counsel employees
  • promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
