Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ability to lift, bend, push, pull and/or walk and stand for extended periods
  • willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment
  • availability to complete sanitation course as required
  • prior supervisory or food service experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year as a lead
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • maintain emotional control under stress
  • ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • prepare production records
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production ensuring safety and quality
  • store food items safely and organized
  • maintain serving schedules per menu specifications
  • maintain sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders as needed per vendor
  • operate an efficient cost-effective program
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • counsel and promote employee growth and teamwork
