The Catering Services Manager role at Aramark is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering and special events at the assigned location. This role requires managing a dedicated catering team to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality delivery of catering solutions. The manager will work closely with clients to develop custom catering plans that meet their needs, delivering seamless event experiences from start to finish. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and executing events, facilitating food delivery, and maintaining strict adherence to company service standards and quality assurance.
The Catering Services Manager leads by example and takes full ownership of event execution, including staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management. This position demands someone who is proactive, creative, and detail-oriented to ensure all catering events are executed flawlessly and within budget. Maintaining accurate financial records for all catering-related transactions, meeting food and labor cost targets, and ensuring compliance with food safety and occupational safety regulations are critical aspects of the job. The role requires flexibility to work event-based hours and the physical ability to perform tasks that include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Job Requirements
- requires at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- availability to work flexible, event-based hours
- excellent communication skills
- food handlers and alcohol service certifications as required
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for long periods
- prior management or supervisory experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- requires at least 2 years of experience
- prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
- previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred
- requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- must have excellent communications skills

Job Duties
- develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers needs
- develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
- facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
- assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients needs
- train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
- provide completed banquet event orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
