Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of 4 years experience in catering or related field
- at least 1-3 years experience in management role
- prior experience in events and catering
- strong communication skills
- availability to work event-based hours
- completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment

Job Duties
- Coordinate total catering operations including event booking, supervising teams, menu development and costing, pricing, hiring, departmental administration
- manage all aspects of preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations
- develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs
- build and maintain effective client and customer rapport
- create and execute annual marketing plans including collateral, sales strategies, and marketing budgets
- establish and enforce service and presentation standards ensuring compliance and consistency
- introduce new services to support business growth and client retention
- advise clients, customers, and staff on current catering trends and products
- facilitate delivery of prepared food based on banquet event orders
- participate in sales process and contract negotiations, assisting clients with special event planning
- train and lead catering employees to maintain standards
- set and achieve sales, food, and labor targets
- oversee staffing and management at catering events of varied sizes
- manage accounting functions, including reporting of catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables
- ensure compliance with food safety, occupational and environmental policies
