Job Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces including arranging dining tables and place settings
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a polished professional manner according to the event’s style (plated buffet or passed service)
- Greet and engage with guests ensuring they have everything they need for a pleasant dining experience
- Be familiar with the event menu providing information and recommendations when needed to assist guests with their choices
- Clear used plates and glassware from tables keeping the dining area neat and organized throughout the event
- Respond to any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism resolving issues quickly and courteously
- Work closely with other servers chefs and event staff to ensure the event runs smoothly
- Refill guest beverages as needed including water wine and other drinks throughout the event
- Ensure that service is always conducted with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance in compliance with event or venue guidelines
