Job Description
The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) is a premier consortium of ten venues located on the picturesque shores of Lake Superior in Duluth's vibrant Canal Park. Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- No minimum education required
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently
- Successful completion of reference checks
- Successful completion of background check
- Successful completion of drug test if applicable
- Ability to navigate busy and crowded areas safely and quickly
- Long hair must be pulled back
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and holidays as scheduled
- Must provide own black dress pants and black shoes
- Ability to comply with sanitation, health, and safety protocols

Job Duties
- Set tables prior to events including dishes, tableware, napkins, etc.
- Serve food and beverages from kitchen and/or service areas
- Relay special requests to kitchen
- Clear and/or reset tables at conclusion of each course or meal
- Assist with plating meals when required
- Assist in clean up after meals served and wash equipment
- Assist in cleaning and restocking of service areas
- Cooperate and assist team workers with other projects as assigned
- Maintain a high degree of service-orientation when performing duties
- Answer questions and assist guests regarding food and service
- Assist team and/or other departments with tasks including light cleaning, moving chairs or signage, and other event related functions
- Create and maintain a professional and hospitable appearance and atmosphere
- Follow sanitation, health, and safety protocols
