Job Duties
- Responds to phone and walk-in inquiries and conducts site visits establishing relationships with potential and current clients
- Coordinates with the culinary team on menu creation and delivery for high profile and custom events
- Acts as key point of contact for high profile events such as weddings conferences and university celebrations
- Organizes bookings generates contracts and develops banquet event orders to ensure accurate details are conveyed
- Upsells packages and food and beverage options along with cross selling hotel room blocks to increase profitability
- Supervises execution of banquet events to promote client satisfaction and ensure prompt resolution of any client issues
- Mentors junior staff and coordinates with other departments to ensure quality service
