Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
- US citizenship required
- willing to work in cold temperatures
- ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
- complete an FBI fingerprint check and a confirmed 10-year background check
- no conviction of any FAA disqualifying crimes
- willing to work non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- possess written and oral communication skills in English
- able to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- demonstrated security mindset with an understanding of aviation security principles
- ability to follow detailed operational procedures and protocols
- experience in customer service or security roles is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Inspects airline equipment and checks for any unauthorized items
- screens cargo using equipment/method designated by customer and according to customer’s specifications
- performs aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding according to customer’s specifications
- observes and monitors unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection/validation duties
- performs all other duties as assigned by management
- reports to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager
- works shifts including early morning, morning, day, and evening, weekends, and holidays as needed
