Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • US citizenship required
  • willing to work in cold temperatures
  • ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
  • complete an FBI fingerprint check and a confirmed 10-year background check
  • no conviction of any FAA disqualifying crimes
  • willing to work non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • possess written and oral communication skills in English
  • able to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • demonstrated security mindset with an understanding of aviation security principles
  • ability to follow detailed operational procedures and protocols
  • experience in customer service or security roles is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Inspects airline equipment and checks for any unauthorized items
  • screens cargo using equipment/method designated by customer and according to customer’s specifications
  • performs aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding according to customer’s specifications
  • observes and monitors unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection/validation duties
  • performs all other duties as assigned by management
  • reports to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager
  • works shifts including early morning, morning, day, and evening, weekends, and holidays as needed
