Job Requirements

- bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field a plus
Job Duties
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of catering and event sales for corporate meetings, social functions, and group events
- conduct site visits, client meetings, and tastings to promote the hotel's event spaces and catering options
- prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts, ensuring accuracy and profitability while meeting client needs
- work closely with the culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
- create detailed Banquet Event Orders and distribute timely information to all departments
- maintain accurate records in Delphi and follow Hilton sales standards and procedures
- meet or exceed catering and event revenue goals, including upselling food and beverage enhancements and AV services
- cultivate strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
- participate in local networking events, community outreach, and Hilton brand initiatives to generate new leads
- provide on-site support during events as needed to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes
- assist with forecasting, budgeting, and month-end reporting in coordination with the sales leadership team
- solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through efforts such as outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking while maximizing banquet space to meet/exceed revenue goals
- plan, up-sell and detail the meeting/function with the client including space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations
- complete contracts, prepare appropriate paperwork, coordinate with hotel departments, resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate/hotel procedures and products and the competition's product, strengths and weaknesses to continually improve sales strategies and achievement of goals
- perform other duties as assigned
