Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years in sales or related experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with sales and CRM software

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in hospitality management, marketing, business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Two or more years of sales-related experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Creativity in sales approach and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

Job Duties

  • Negotiate event business through B2B channels
  • Develop effective sales strategies to counter competition
  • Build valuable business leadership resulting in additional sales and new clients
  • Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries
  • Confirm profitable catering business with a wide range of clients
  • Manage multiple tasks and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with hotel management to achieve catering and banquet goals
