Job Qualifications
- Sales experience within the hotel industry
- catering sales management experience with a focus on weddings
- familiarity with Delphi.fdc
- degree-level qualification in a relevant field

Job Duties
- Target and solicit new catering business through lead generation, face-to-face prospecting, and relationship referrals
- design, develop, and sell creative catered events
- develop existing business to uncover additional revenue opportunities
- maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage
- respond to incoming catering opportunities
- perform site visits, both scheduled and on-demand
- assist with the forecasting of all catering revenue categories
- participate in the development and implementation of the vanity site for weddings
- handle customer compliments and complaints through distribution and resolution
- stay on top of industry trends making recommendations to the sales and catering teams
- work closely with the Event Manager to ensure all event details are communicated
- travel primarily outside the hotel to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold conferences, and make sales proposals and presentations
- determine rates and negotiate contracts
