Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous catering sales experience preferred
- valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- developed verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- strong organization and presentation skills

Job Duties
- Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
- proactively conduct solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients
- grow existing relationships with assigned accounts
- monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
- approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- adhere to company regulations, standards, and catering sales metrics
- develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments
- ensure the Daily Event List, Banquet Event Order/Guarantee Sheet and Ten Day Event Schedule are generated timely and accurately
- maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations
- assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments
- attend meetings and any other functions required by management
- perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing
