Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous catering sales experience preferred
  • valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • developed verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills

  • developed verbal and written communication skills
  • professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills

Job Duties

  • Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
  • proactively conduct solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients
  • grow existing relationships with assigned accounts
  • monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
  • approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • adhere to company regulations, standards, and catering sales metrics
  • develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments
  • ensure the Daily Event List, Banquet Event Order/Guarantee Sheet and Ten Day Event Schedule are generated timely and accurately
  • maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations
  • assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments
  • attend meetings and any other functions required by management
  • perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing
