Job Duties
- Prospecting for new business - internet prospecting, cold calling and contacting former clients to solicit new business and attending industry events/programs as needed
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Responding in a timely manner to incoming group/catering business opportunities
- Conducting hotel site inspections and client presentations both in person and virtually
- Creating contracts and other related booking documentation including activity tracking and managing client account files
- Detailing events to include all food and beverage, setup and audio visual needs and making suggestions to ensure group and hotel needs are met
- Creating group resumes and communicating client needs to all hotel departments ensuring follow through
- Using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
