  • Proficient with contract creation and account management
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Prospecting for new business - internet prospecting, cold calling and contacting former clients to solicit new business and attending industry events/programs as needed
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Responding in a timely manner to incoming group/catering business opportunities
  • Conducting hotel site inspections and client presentations both in person and virtually
  • Creating contracts and other related booking documentation including activity tracking and managing client account files
  • Detailing events to include all food and beverage, setup and audio visual needs and making suggestions to ensure group and hotel needs are met
  • Creating group resumes and communicating client needs to all hotel departments ensuring follow through
  • Using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
