Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • one to two years related experience and/or training
  • ability to complete contracts in compliance with all checklists, standards, and hotel policies
  • ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
  • ability to manage multiple customer and operational demands professionally
  • ability to work independently with excellent time management and self-motivation
  • proficiency with computer systems including Word, Excel, Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet navigation
  • ability to maintain organized virtual files according to hotel guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • one to two years related experience or training
  • ability to complete contracts in compliance with checklists and hotel policies
  • proficiency in Word, Excel, Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet navigation
  • excellent time management and self-motivation
  • ability to work under pressure and handle multiple demands professionally
  • strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Booking social and corporate events
  • selling event spaces and services
  • planning and coordinating events
  • generating revenue through new and repeat business
  • acting as liaison between clients and hotel operation teams
  • negotiating contracts and banquet event orders
  • coordinating event details and communication
  • working with hotel departments to facilitate services
  • ensuring event contractual requirements are met
  • producing monthly sales-related reports
  • arranging and conducting site inspections and presentations
  • completing special projects as assigned
