Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- one to two years related experience and/or training
- ability to complete contracts in compliance with all checklists, standards, and hotel policies
- ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
- ability to manage multiple customer and operational demands professionally
- ability to work independently with excellent time management and self-motivation
- proficiency with computer systems including Word, Excel, Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet navigation
- ability to maintain organized virtual files according to hotel guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- one to two years related experience or training
- ability to complete contracts in compliance with checklists and hotel policies
- proficiency in Word, Excel, Delphi FDC, Meeting Broker, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet navigation
- excellent time management and self-motivation
- ability to work under pressure and handle multiple demands professionally
- strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Booking social and corporate events
- selling event spaces and services
- planning and coordinating events
- generating revenue through new and repeat business
- acting as liaison between clients and hotel operation teams
- negotiating contracts and banquet event orders
- coordinating event details and communication
- working with hotel departments to facilitate services
- ensuring event contractual requirements are met
- producing monthly sales-related reports
- arranging and conducting site inspections and presentations
- completing special projects as assigned
