Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous catering sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license for applicable state
  • Developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills

  • Ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence
  • Experience with professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
  • Proactively conduct solicitation calls and sales tours
  • Entertain clients specific to social, corporate, and business markets
  • Grow relationships with assigned leisure, business travel, and group accounts
  • Monitor and evaluate trends within the market segment
  • Approach all guest and employee interactions with attentiveness and courtesy
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of event documentation
  • Maintain strong visibility in community and industry organizations
  • Participate in special promotions and sales blitzes
  • Attend required meetings and functions
  • Perform duties as assigned by management
