Job Duties
- Attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals
- Develop and execute business plans for designated markets
- Conduct solicitation calls, hotel site tours, and client offsite visits to generate new leads
- Maintain high visibility and build relationships with assigned accounts to increase market share
- Maximize revenue from rooms, public space, food and beverage, and ancillary products and services
- Monitor and evaluate market trends within assigned segment
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales progress
- Ensure professional, effective, and timely client communication
- Maintain updated business opportunity pipeline and share progress regularly
- Prepare and present personalized proposals and negotiate contracts
- Assist in menu development, pricing analysis, and catering forecasts
- Coordinate with kitchen and banquet teams on client needs and event execution
- Lead Banquet Event Order meetings and communicate changes to impacted departments
- Ensure successful set-up, execution, and financial closure of events
- Develop relationships with external sales organizations and participate in trade shows and community events to promote the hotel
