Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of catering or hotel sales experience
- Experience in a full-service hotel or event venue
- Strong communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in sales software or CRM systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 2-5 years of catering sales or hotel sales experience preferred
- Experience working in a full-service hotel or conference/event venue
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with hotel sales systems such as Delphi, CI/TY, or similar platforms is preferred
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Job Duties
- Proactively solicit and secure catering business including corporate meetings, social events, weddings, and group functions
- Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to event execution and post-event follow-up
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs)
- Conduct site tours and client meetings to showcase the hotels meeting and event spaces
- Partner with the culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
- Maintain strong relationships with new and repeat clients to generate ongoing business
- Achieve and exceed catering revenue goals
- Participate in networking events and community outreach to promote the hotel
- Accurately forecast revenue and maintain sales activity in the CRM system
