- Strong background in new business development

- Excellent organizational skills to set priorities and meet goals
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to influence in a matrix environment
- Solid business and financial acumen, including strong analytical skills and aptitude with reports and metrics
- Experienced with creating proposals and tracking progress on them
- Polished and professional in demeanor and presence with great attention to detail
- Talented, passionate, knowledgeable of food service in the restaurant and catering industry
- Team player who wants to be part of a winning team
- Successful track record leading cross-functional teams, building relationships, and driving sales effectiveness
- Ability to solve problems and make changes to accommodate a rapidly changing marketplace
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and to anticipate and support changes

Job Duties
- Create a targeted game plan for increasing regional catering sales with corporate and social events within a designated territory
- Initiate direct sales and business development
- Focus on revenue-producing activity and maximize selling time by 80 percent dedicated work time on direct sales efforts and local marketing
- Employ strategic planning, cold calling, sales presentations and effective closing sales techniques
- Work closely with local catering and management teams to stay abreast of clients, trends, and lead opportunities
- Maintain active involvement in networking events
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients through follow-up visits and presence at key events
