Job Requirements

  • A four-year college degree in hospitality management, marketing, business or related degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Two or more years of catering or event sales related experience is required
  • Ability to multitask and work long irregular hours, weekends and evenings
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Actively prospect, sell, and negotiate catering-only events and small room blocks to achieve budgeted revenue targets
  • Act as the main contact for clients, managing all event details including menu planning, floor plans, timelines, and AV requirements
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with wedding planners, corporate clients, and social groups
  • Create accurate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and turnover documents to ensure seamless execution by banquet teams
  • Monitor competitors, industry trends, and market conditions to maximize revenue potential
  • Conduct property tours for prospective clients to showcase facilities
  • Work closely with banquet, culinary, AV and hotel operational teams to ensure flawless event execution
