Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably in hospitality or catering
- ability to work flexible hours including overtime
- valid driver’s license
- strong organizational skills
- proficiency with sales software and Microsoft Office
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to travel locally as needed

- Proven experience in catering or banquet sales
- strong knowledge of hotel sales operations

Job Duties
- Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals
- proactively conduct solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients
- grow existing relationships with assigned accounts
- monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment
- approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- adhere to established regulations, company standards, and catering sales metrics
- develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments
- ensure daily event and banquet order documentation is accurate and timely
- maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations
- assist in implementing and participating in special sales promotions
- attend daily, weekly, monthly meetings and any other functions required by management
- perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing
