Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years experience in hotel catering sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office and hotel sales software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Willingness to engage in self-development and team collaboration
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years hotel catering or similar industry experience
- Proven ability to provide quality service
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with hotel management systems such as Delphi preferred
- Knowledge of catering and food and beverage operations
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to effectively influence and solve problems
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
Job Duties
- Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat catering business to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Plan and coordinate meetings and functions including space, equipment, menus, and decor
- Prepare and manage contracts and proposals
- Conduct site inspections and client presentations
- Collaborate with internal hotel departments to ensure quality service delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market competition and sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and follow up post-event
