- Proven experience in catering sales or a related sales role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with catering industry trends and practices
- Proficiency in Marriott CI/TY, Microsoft Office, and relevant sales tools
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills

- Work to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Understand clients' needs and preferences, offering tailored catering solutions
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond
- Coordinate with event planners to ensure seamless event execution
- Plan and organize logistics, including equipment, staffing, and setup details
- Oversee event timelines, ensuring all aspects run smoothly
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote catering services
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and online content
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions
- Provide regular sales reports and performance metrics to management
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform pricing and strategies
