Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk or related professional field
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- preferred catering sales experience
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related field
- 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred
- catering sales experience preferred

- ability to develop and sell creative catering events

- knowledge of market conditions and competitive landscape

Job Duties
- Handle social and local corporate catering opportunities above group sales parameters
- manage property sales efforts for local corporate and social catering
- respond to incoming catering opportunities
- identify and solicit new catering business to achieve revenue goals
- negotiate contracts and close catering sales
- develop and sell creative catered events
- manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets
- provide sales forecasting
- assist with catering promotions
- implement brand service strategies throughout sales process
- collaborate with off-property sales teams
- maintain guest satisfaction through customer service
- work with operations for strategy execution
- ensure seamless turnover from sales to operations and back
- monitor guest issue resolution resulting from sales
- achieve catering revenue goals through up-selling
