Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- at least 4 years experience in event planning and coordination including weddings corporate and social markets
- experience with food beverage sales and marketing
- working knowledge of food and beverage banquet style services
- knowledge of catering menu planning and development
- strong knowledge of food and beverage safety standards
- familiarity with current catering food beverage and hospitality trends
- ability to operate word processing spreadsheet and database systems ReServe Cloud knowledge preferred
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to handle multiple competing tasks with high accuracy

- ability to work effectively in diverse environments
- proficiency in word processing spreadsheet and database systems preferred ReServe Cloud

- ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
Job Duties
- Coordinate a variety of private catered events including weddings corporate and social markets
- develop and coordinate logistics with outside vendors and departments including health department ABC and SDPD
- create event staffing plans and manage all related logistics
- develop cost analysis for budgeting including tracking expenses and revenue and reporting
- cultivate and steward clients through customized experiences and tour activities
- create event orders and planners for internal and external communications
- track deposits guarantees and tickets
- contract outside vendors negotiating best prices
- direct staff and volunteers at events
