Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year minimum experience in catering sales
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using sales and catering management systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of catering sales experience
  • Preferably hotel operations experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Experience with Delphi, Amadeus, or comparable sales and catering management systems
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to maintain and build client relationships
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of event planning and catering logistics

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts, negotiate, and handle complaints or disputes
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
  • Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance
