Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year minimum experience in catering sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using sales and catering management systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of catering sales experience
- Preferably hotel operations experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams
- Experience with Delphi, Amadeus, or comparable sales and catering management systems
- Strong multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain and build client relationships
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of event planning and catering logistics
Job Duties
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
- Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes
- Resolve conflicts, negotiate, and handle complaints or disputes
- Sell and influence both internal and external clients
- Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
- Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process
- Perform other duties as required by business needs
- Maintain regular attendance
