Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in catering, hospitality sales support, or event management
- bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience
- proficiency with catering software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- understanding of or experience in catering operations and logistics
- working knowledge of front-of-house service roles such as bussing, food service, expediting, bartending
- solid understanding of food, beverage, and service standards including basic beer, wine, and spirits knowledge
Job Duties
- Respond to and qualify incoming catering inquiries via phone and email
- support the sales team in preparing proposals, quotes, and accurate event orders
- assist in monitoring and maintaining sales and event calendars with a high level of accuracy
- prepare, organize, and distribute event documents including proposals, BEOs, timelines, and summaries
- maintain catering software and CRM systems, including lead conversion, guest databases, menus, and event files
- coordinate menus, staffing, rentals, and in-house equipment in collaboration with sales and operations
- manage internal communications related to each event, ensuring changes, updates, and logistics are clearly documented and distributed
- assist with client communication and support
