Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of catering sales experience
  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Serve Safe and RAMP certifications preferred
  • strong leadership skills
  • proficiency in event financial management
  • clear communication skills
  • ability to adapt and solve problems
  • exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel to events
  • full-time availability including weekends
  • commitment to food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of catering sales experience with success in wedding and corporate/non-profit markets
  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Serve Safe and RAMP certifications preferred
  • strong leadership abilities and collaborative mindset
  • passion for personalized client relations and exceptional guest experiences
  • proficiency in event financials including food, beverage, rentals, staffing, and décor
  • clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to anticipate and solve problems quickly
  • exceptional attention to detail
  • ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • ability to learn new software platforms
  • positive, upbeat attitude and genuine enthusiasm for food and events
  • commitment to food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Manage the full event lifecycle from initial inquiry and proposal through planning, on-site oversight, and final billing
  • earn commission commensurate with experience and performance
  • work closely with chefs to understand cuisine and curate tailored menus
  • stay informed on current food and beverage trends
  • cultivate and maintain strong relationships with venues, planners, vendors, and industry partners
  • leverage professional network to generate new business opportunities
  • work full-time, including weekends and Saturdays typically the busiest day
